Some of my AV stuff on ebay

In case anyone in the UK is after some AV stuff, i've put some bits up on the dreaded bay :shifty:

If anyone outside the UK is interested in some of the smaller stuff, I can look into postage costs.

Nice cabs 8-) Impromptu gaming afternoon yesterday with a few different boards. Cheers chaps 8-) I spy a sneaky link cable on the two centre cabs. Out of interest ... is that an official link or a link-loom you made yourself? ;) It's one I made myself ;) I was going to buy one (well, two actually) o...

Re: 2 Astro cabs, 1 pcb - how to make it work?

Just wondering if you ever got your loom sorted?
I fudged up another loom recently, but kept it to a minimum purely for Video as the audio/controls were already taken care of.
Picture looked good with no distortion, running on an MS8.

Re: PC in a NAC, what about the voltage?

I'm not sure for all NAC cabinets, but all i've seen have an AC outlet that could be used to power the PC. NAC.png Aye, I'm pretty sure almost all PC PSU's are auto switching nowadays, and the PC shouldn't need 220v If you wanted to be on the safe side, you could get a manual switch PSU https://www....

is it possible to update pictures please ? Here's a couple of pics from screens I've done in the past, from here http://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2448 I only did it because the anti static coating on both monitors was already rubbed off/scratched in places, and looked pretty ugl...

Got a nice official Component cable (and other goodies) from tom2004 the other day for the Wii, and it looks a whole lot better. The 3rd party cable I used before had some serious interference/glitches/dots/fuzz on the screen. Time for a bit of TvC :awe: http://i.imgur.com/hclAhwq.jpg

Insert, re-insert and re-re-insert the game cart! :awe:
My SFC is continually black screening, and I sometimes have to eject the game 4 or five times before it comes back to life.

Re: WTD: Windy 2 Instruction space strip.

That's a shame to hear. Fingers crossed it might turn up again. From what I've seen, it's pretty much identical to a Windy 1 Instruction Space. I haven't got a spare, but I could have a go at scanning mine if you don't have any luck finding an original. (and if you are ever thinking of selling your ...

Re: 2 Astro cabs, 1 pcb - how to make it work?

The unknown loom suprised me in that is has power going over too. Pretty sure that would be a 'bad thing' for me as I still have the switching psu running in the slave cab (it has a bit of 12v load as there are lights, credit board + mech etc..) Ah, I forgot to add the other end of that loom pix! I...

Re: 2 Astro cabs, 1 pcb - how to make it work?

I've been using a couple of different looms to connect 2 and 3 cabinets together. I can't say that I've ever seen distortion like you're seeing. I've not used them a large amount, but I definitley remember a whole day playing various games with Pubjoe using a FrancoB loom to connect two cabs. I've a...

Thanks for the heads up. Woke up earlier rather usual yesterday (unplanned) so got to watch it for a while. There were some really great matches. Re: The Punisher CPS1.5 (desuicided) issues

Glad to say it's finally sorted :awe: I can only think that the data saved from the configuration (lives, difficulty...) onto the eprom (not sure which) somehow got corrupted. I loaded the USA version onto the eproms in the hope that the config would be slightly different, ignore the corrupted info ...
