Re: leonardoliveira & Idc's clean decrypted roms

Hi guys and thank you for the good work. I used the decrypted roms from the site to try to revive my green vampire savior. Both euro on Japanese release failed to revive the board. I reprogrammed the 8 eproms : First i tried Japan version : 3~10 Japanese decrypted from the site -> no boot Then i tr...

Re: Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Edition :awe:

I agree that eshop pricing is stupid, but I'm all for it when it comes to indies. Some of my favourite games of the last decade couldn't possibly exist otherwise. Oh, of course. Indies are a different matter entirely. AAA titles which can be had on disc for £39.99 but then it's the same price or ev...

Re: Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Edition :awe:

I refuse to buy download only games. Yeah, just like you, if I'm paying out teh cash moneys, I like to have something to hold in my hands. :fastlove: Often, the physical copy of a game can be had for less than the downloadable release. This irks me as it's way cheaper to provide a download of a tit...

Re: Looking for insight on CPS-2 gray boards

Some good observations there, WilalvesBR. I'd forgotten about the inclusion of Mexico within the USA region on some (later?) games. I think that something similar can be said for Australia and the surrounding areas. There is an Oceania region, for which I've only ever seen one game dumped (Street Fi...

Re: Looking for insight on CPS-2 gray boards

Capcom Mexico only had keys for Hispanic games. More or less. Capcom Mexico did also have keys for some games in other regions. I've personally seen key cards for at least the following: HSF2 USA. Curiously this version was only released in South America, not North America. Likely that there was no...

Re: Looking for insight on CPS-2 gray boards

Good call. I didn't consider it could be an Asian A board in a Japan case. One connector is longer on the B board, like a doubled-stacked connector for lack of a better description. It fits perfectly on the A board which has the compatible connector recessed into the case (sitting lower than the su...

Re: Looking for insight on CPS-2 gray boards

Look at the bottom of the B-board. Are all of the connectors the same type, or are they a mixture of male and female? Does one connector protrude further? If they're all of the same type and protrusion, you have a Japanese B-board in a grey Asian case, and a regular Japanese A-board. If they differ,...

My eldest (soon to be four) likes SSFIVAE and USFIV. He favours the player 2 side here, as he likes the purple buttons.

C120 and New £1 Coin?

Anyone here updated their coin mechs for the new £1 coin?

I have a C120 (with Excel 2.2 credit board) which I'd like to either do myself or have done for me.

Looking for some pointers or recommendations.

Cheers. :awe:

Re: Important Capcom CPS2 Announcement

Artemio Urbina, who helped us obtain valid key data and deduced pinouts; The keys used by the device to revive real boards aren't the same keys used by emulators? CPS2 boards require a data stream which holds the keys, the encrypted range (which is not always the entire program ROM space) and the w...
