Re: Astro City Yellow Marquee and metal parts

Those metal parts certainly look good. Regarding the marquee not sure if I can accept that kind of colour difference  . Sorry man, you´ve learned it the hard way. Never ever use acetone to clean any plastics or paint (unless you want to remove it). Take an old jewelcase (polycarbonate I think)...

Yes, that's what has always been said in the forum. I never bought a Blast tube, but bought a Swing tube this week, and had no problem.

Re: CP frame, stains and scratches.

MAgic eraser improves it, but not to a decent point. I am using kraft polishing compound now, but will need to figure out how to recover the shine.

Tubes are normal tubes, you just need to measure them. I bought one yesterday for a Swing, nothing special about it.

At first I thought a dead battery, but this board has no battery. Any idea what can be causing this image?

Re: CP frame, stains and scratches.

Trying going over it very lightly with wire wool and white vinegar, circular motions over a small area a couple of inches wide at most - only use this method for the inside mind. wire wool won´t be too aggressive? I tried acetone in the inside, and I´m quite pleased with it, is the outside what bot...

CP frame, stains and scratches.

Continuing with my Blast restoration, I am trying to clean the CP plastic surrounding while I wait for the screw removal kit. I have tried with acetone and T-cut white but no real difference except for the inner stains. Current condition: https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4433/36253188840_76208fcaf1.jp...

Re: Konami boards audio?

This is simple DAC, basically converts the digital part of the Audio circuit to the Analogue part. If you have a logic probe, you can see if you have an healthy signal pulsing in the inputs and you should hear a bip (if your probe has sound) on the output in rhythm with actual game music. If you ha...

I have a Kick control box with a Nagano 110v. What PSU could be a good replacement for it? Don´t want to use a converter on this thing.
